Free Laugh Tracks?

I am wondering if anyone knows of good long laugh tracks to use for a comedy club scene. Otherwise I might have to layer a bunch of laughs from different friends and mess with them to multiply them but making them sound like different people, etc... lots of work.

I am broke so can't be buying anything pro right now.

Should I just start working on it? Or are there any golden nuggets out there for the taking?

I needed a laugh track a few years ago, so I called a friend of mine who is the choral director for my old high school. I borrowed the choral department one afternoon, ordered pizza and recorded laughs with them.

C2V, nice one man!

Jump, what do you mean by Soundtrack Pro? Does it come with laughs? I imagine it isn't free so what are you suggesting I do?

Years ago I needed restaurant ambience and crowd walla so I just took a portable recorder with me when I went to a large busy restaurant, set it on the table and turned it on, and took my time sitting quietly through a couple of glasses of wine before ordering dinner. If you need the ambience of a comedy club, why not grab a Zoom or similar recorder, and go down to yuour local club for an evening? If you're not using the actual performance, no problem.

my concern with that is that I will pick up the comedian also... what I was thinking about was getting the comedian on the film to use the material I want him to use on the film on a club and get it that way... I am going to call him today and ask him about that

we'll see if it works for him, and if it can happen soon for me
