Free CD with Barry's HVX book?

I have received Barry's book with the p2 rebate. On page 257 it says the scene files on the following pages are on the "CD accompanied with this book".

For those of you who recently received the rebate, did you get the CD with the book?

Yes, both of my copies of Barry's book (one from the HD Bootcamp and one from the Panasonic rebate) had a CD attached to the inside back cover.

yep. You should have the cd with the book. The book I ordered through Barry had it stuck inside the book on the back cover.

The one's I got through the p2 rebate program had it loose. It was the book and the cd in plastic wrap. The cd envelope had a little sticky you could peel to stick it to the book.

Crapola. Looks like my CD did a Houdini in the post. Come to think of it, the plastic the book was in was opened along the top.

Is there anything on the CD I really need? (sucks to miss out on the scene files).

Not just the pictures and scene files, but I guess you will miss out on the super duper secret HVX information Barry only put on CD. I guess you also will miss out on the map to the treasure. :laugh:
 
For what it's worth mine didn't make it with a CD either. At least the 8GB P2 card didn't get lost in transit. :)
 
I received my book and CD from the Panasonic rebate. But the CD was cracked and broken in shipping; came in about 20 pieces. I left a message with the fullfilment house, but haven't recevied a replacement.

I'm attending the hdbootcamp.com event 3/17. I think I'll pickup another one there.
