Okay, so let's try something a bit different…

I've got a perfectly good copy of Barry Green's "The HMC Book," and I could try to sell it. But as it was given to me, I'd like to give it to someone else.

If you want it, just post a quick sentence as to why you think you need it, and a link to something you've shot online to view. I'll watch the first five clips posted, and I'll give it to one of those five. You don't have to pay a dime of shipping, as I'll cover that as well.

Well, I have a couple clips but if you look in the HMC40 section you will see that I asked Jan from Panasonic why didn't I get my Barry green book and she PM'd me saying that I was a couple weeks too early when I bought my camera. :(
Yea, so I haven't bought it since I also gave my wife the camera and she is now my AC #1. so if you still have it I am sure we would really appreciate it, thanks Mick.

I am a Panasonic GH2 owner looking to hopefully purchase a AF-100 very soon. I actually coughed up a few hundred bucks and rented one this weekend and would LOVE to get the scoop on this amazing video camera.
I am not a professional camera/video guy; just a father wanting to take lifelong clips of his kids. Here's a video I shot with the Nokton at nighttime on the 4th of July this year:

It's very short too; does that help?

Hello from istanbul,

Been on the road in europe for some months now
filming things
learning along the way
Had a tm900 stolen
canon g9 broken
working with whatever as avail

Primarily concerned with improvised moments
with strangers
least planning, staging, and editing as possible
Result isn't important now

camera as a tool for connections
an excuse really
to make things with people in the moment.

how to extend this idea?

found myself ushered into a turkish wedding tonight,
focused on going from stranger to temporary family member.
only then
did the camera turn on

soul first
technicalities later

Saving for HMC now
Book would be good.

vids were shot with canon g9,
except one , a canon fS36 when g9 broke

Looking to upgrade to HD Camera

Looking to upgrade to HD Camera

I am a historian, who has entered the world of documentary filmmaking. I made a feature-length historical film. (There is a trailer on my vimeo page.) And along the way I have made a couple of short music documentaries. All of this has been done on a Panasonic DVX100, and I thank dvxuser.com for helping make that decision (and helping me learn how to use that camera) three or four years ago. I want to make more films, and I think it is time to upgrade to an HD camera. This book could me think about what my next camera should be, as well as help me once I buy it.
Thanks, John

Alright! Thanks for playing, gentlemen. I'll look over the links and I'll send a PM to the one who gets the book. Cheers to all of you for posting and sharing, and best of luck in your filmmaking endeavors.
