not sure what you mean...it was all in xsi. i just rendered the shots out and edited them. the thing we try to do as much as possible with previs is keep it simple...there are times when we need to do an explosion and stuff where we need to do some after effects work...i guess you could say it was all "in camera"

here is another previs test me and a buddy did in a day...we were up for a couple car flicks...fast and furious 3 and hot wheels...we ended up getting fast and furious 3, doing a little test action helped...

i did the set modeling/lighting/texturing/camera work....he did the car animation. this stuff is all open gl..no fancy rendering or anything...just what the software can do in realtime...it lets us move faster that way. once the animation is setup we can frame up shots and render quicktimes real fast.

Cool. Thanks. I meant which elements (in this case muzzel flashes and heat ripples/displacements) were put together in post. But, everything was from one render, which asnswers. Nice sound work too.

Hey,
Kinda resurrecting this thread, but you guys that are using the demo...Can you get it to run more than 20 times?
-Ryan
Edit: I guess I can just leave it open as much as possible and use other email addys.

"The FrameForge 3D Demo is limited to no more than 12 items per set, 20 shots per storyboard, includes about 20-25% of the object library (though it displays icons for all objects in the library with the missing ones showing "N/A" in the corner), and all stored shots will print/export with a FrameForge Demo "watermark" on them. The demo is also limited to 20 runs."

Since this thread is a little old.......are these the same restrictions that you're all working with in the demo or has it changed?
