Frame to Frame time delay

I haven't shot any time delay before and just wrapping up our six week film shoot which has got to be the biggest nightmare project that I have ever done.

This morning as I was sitting on the coast of New Zealand watching the sun rise I thought to myself 'Hey that might be a nice shot for an opening scene to the film as the sun rise and lights up the small town on the coast of New Zealand'.

So the question I need to ask is - does the Hvx200A have a setting where I can set up the camera on the hillside and have it take frame by frame over a few hours of time and when played back is only a few seconds/minutes?

I know I should have done my homework but as this is our last three days of filming and I can really use some help with this question.

Thanks,

i think what your referring to is a timelapse?

you can do it, but i'll let someone with more experience with this particular camera help you.
