Frame Rate / Resolution

[James M]

I'm struggling to find an answer to what I thought would be a fairly simple question - maybe you lot can help?

What resolution does FS700 shoot 960fps at, and is that with or without external recorder?

Apologies, either my googling isn't up to scratch or the literature is confusing.

Try this article:
http://provideocoalition.com/awilt/story/high_speed_and_low_light_with_the_nex-fs700/

It has charts in it, and a table which lists:
240 fps: "full HD" (although using "coarser demosaic'ing"; the chart shows a significant drop in resolved detail)
480 fps: 1920 x 432
960 fps: 960 x 216

The charts are about 2/3 of the way down the page.

Brilliant, thanks for that. I was wondering if the 2012 specs still hold true for the latest firmware. Any idea?
