Hi, I've been shooting with a DVX for the past few weeks and think I have the hang of most of it, though certainly not all. As some of you know I'm shooting a martial arts film and understand that speeding up is often done by shooting at 22fps back in film shoots. I've tried the advice of some boardmembers here and simply time remapped 24pA footage from the DVX to mimic this speedup. Honestly, while I'm totally open to the possibility that I just didn't do it right (I just went into Premiere and right clicked on the clip and sped it up about 108%), it honestly just doesn't look right.
I've read online that there's such a thing as frame rate conversion? How can this be done exactly?
