Frame mode?

I'm guessing this is a commonly asked question..
I'm using the dvx100b. From what I hear, frame mode was disabled for this model??

I'm filming hours worth of time-lapses, and i would rather not use 10 tapes.

Is there any way I can slow the frame rate down??

Nope. The 100B just doesn't have that capability.

You could connect it to a computer (thru firewire) and have the computer capture intermittent frames.
