Frame grabs of work in progress.

Bored waiting for a render, so I'm taking this opportunity to post the first stuff I've ever put up here. These are a few frame grabs from a short I'm working on. They're unadjusted-straight-from-the-camera aside from BS 16:9 to crop and JPGing for the web (they're squished pixel aspect).

The short should be done after I spend a few more months with blood-shot eyes compositing. :)

that last guy is like the ice crystal man.. blowing deathy ice. what are these grabs from ?

Re: Frame grabs of work in progress.

The grabs are from this cool digital video camera I have called the DVX100. :P

(I don't think I understand the question.)

That third picture was taken with the fastest shutter speed possible (1/1000th is it?) to get the mid-air tea crisp like that. The first image (dude driving a car) was actually taken with the DVX clipped onto the passenger window. Scary.

LOL!!! Silly hemophilia, he meant what's the name of the movie and/or what's it about. ;D Nice grabs by the way, the ice blowing is the coolest.

Re: Frame grabs of work in progress.

:P, sorry, i should have been more specific i guess.
so yes, what type of project, or production are these grabs from , or are they just free time with the dvx grabs?

Re: Frame grabs of work in progress.

The grabs are from an actual short that I'm doing. It'll be under 10 minutes. Kinda effects heavy, although honestly I was trying to do a dialogue oriented piece, cause I've spent a bit too much of my life fiddling with images and not enough telling stories.

I shot it a month ago in DC (the movie takes place in London). Now I'm in Brazil working on post via the internet with my brother in the States. Quite a bit of a challenge the international production thing.

Keep those expectations low, and look for it in June (that's what my best ETA is). :)
