Frame Grabs - Food shooting on the AF102 and...

Het Eric

Not sure how small you are seeing them butto me... they look as if they are also heavily compresed and visually fuzzy (since I uploaded to the Forum.)

First time I have done this directly without linking to photobucket.

Might try a diferent tack.

Yup. I haven't had much luck with attachments on DVXuser. I use Flickr. I do want to see them, and from what I can see they look great. As usual.

Yeah hard to see directly here Shooter, however I know they'll all be first class coming from yourself.

Thanx guys.

I will try and sort them.

BTW - they are actually thumbnails I did create from frame grabs...except they are much clearer and sharper my end.
(Was trying to show a lot to you guys in a single image file and ...something like I bolt onto emails to clients).

Damn shooter, you really make the Af100 look good! I've always been impressed with your work on this camera! When people knock the af100, I just point them to your work!

Thank you Eric. (and others) for compliments.

"Lighting"...They will save me once it goes into grading and cc ..or so the colorists tell me.

BTW - its very simple lighting in the examples,

Shooter- your lighting is tasty, too!

I remember you saying once on a food shoot you used a 4x4 overhead plus a hard source (from behind/side, I believe).

You had some BTS shots for your DIY slider, which may have showed some lighting, but I'd love to see some BTS photos of your lighting setup(s) sometime, especially for food! Any chance of that?
Thanks!

Triggering the crave .....more ungraded footage to tempt you.

Nice clean cross-lighting/back-lighting Shooter. Really makes the colors pop.

BTW, I've found that if you format your DvxUser image attachments to be 800 pixels wide ( or less ), the image will display with the full 800 pixel width.
