When I open a project I always create a timeline with the same resolution and fps as what I shot most of the project with. I keep coming across things like "I dropped my 30 fps footage in a 24 fps timeline". What does that mean? Does the whole project have to be a single timeline. And also how do you mix and match 1080 footage with 720 without have to resize every clip? I just don't understand some of this yet, sorry for the newbie question.
