SHORT: Fourmile Canyon Fire near Boulder

Here is a quick short film of the wild fire just west of Boulder Colorado. This was shot on Monday the 6th. It was surreal to shoot such a beautiful yet frightening event.

Nice work... I liked the music too... Created a nice contrast... such a devastating event, yet something that seems to just happen effortlessly. Huge areas being swallowed up like kindling on a campfire.
 
Thanks for the comments. As of now, 169 homes have been lost due to this fire. That’s the most lost in a Colorado wildfire. I believe 4 of those lost homes were owned by firefighters. High winds and dry conditions make for a nasty fire. We thank these dedicated firefighters for all their hard work.

The camera I used was the proven well trusted EX1. Always a pleasure to shoot with.
