I updated my other FR-2 with Time Code & now no longer need the extra... I've modded it with a 4-pin Hirose power input, since that's what I standardized on, but I can remove that or even add an XLR-4 input- up to the buyer.
The pre's are quiet & it has a good amount of gain. Some of the nature recording guys like this model because of the quiet pre's the gain. I personally like it for film/video production because of the Scene & Take naming option- sure helps keep track of what has been recorded. It uses CF cards, and I've used up to 16GB cards without a problem... Not sure about the newer, larger cards, but others have reported being able to use the 32GB cards.
I'll include the original AC power cord & a copy of the user manual, but don't have any other accessories (bag, strap, cards, etc.). Asking $600, CONUS shipping included.
