Just picked up two 1TB G-Drives for backup while on the road. When I get back to the office I plan to use one to hold all my raw source, and the other to either render to or just as secondary backup.
My question is about setting up the drives. Should I format them any differently or are they good to go out of the box? I have a Macbook Pro on the road, and a Mac Pro at the office. Also, should I daisy chain the two together when transferring files from the camera card (HMC150)? Will that do an auto transfer to both drives or anything?
