Hi
I was just experimenting and decided to use the Panasonic P2 viewer software format option on a card.
It displayed an I/O error and the card was clear but not formatted correctly.
Thankfully the camera's format option worked and the card is now OK.
So no big deal other than if I wanted to continually hotswap my cards for continuous recording I couldn't do it because I'd need to stop recording so the camera could format the P2 card again.
Is this a known problem with that software?
As the P2 card shows up as a G: drive could I use Windows to delete the files or reformat the card?
Thanks
