Format Err on P2?

I just purchased a used DVX from a forumite. I haven't got to shoot with it yet, but as soon as I turned it on to check it out, I got FORMATT ERR on the 2nd P2 card. Any idea what this issues means? I did a Google search but didn't find much.

Try reformatting the card int he camera while in playback mode. n He mostlily deleted files off it on the computer or formated it on the computer and no in the cam. Now the cam doesn't understand it. reformat in cam and you should be good to go.
