For those with a Pelican 1514 case...

Can someone post a picture of your AF100 body inside the Pelican 1514? (with or without other gear)

I've been looking at purchasing one for a trip to TX I have coming up, but after looking at the case at B&H, I'm having doubts as to how much room I'll have left over. Don't have a ton of stuff, but the more space the merrier. I love that it's a hard case, but it definitely seems like it has less space than other soft carry-ons. Pictures of what other people have managed to fit in this specific case would be really helpful.

Cheers!

I don't have a picture but I've got a 1510 that holds an Af100, Gh2, 5 - 6 lenses plus the batterys, chargers, and other miscellaneous stuff. I do recommend the mesh accessory holder that goes in the lid of the case. I've been using this for the last year, wheels, extending handle to hold my backpack and it fits in the overhead on most planes.

I too have the 1514. I went with the divider option, and I can fit a passable run-n-gun:

- AF100
- 14-140
- ancient 50 Nikkon + adapter
- NTG-2 shotgun, windscreen, AKG mount, shortie xlr
- Senn g3 set + 8 pack batteries
- pelican sd card case
- charger
- Senn h150 cans
- litepanels + mount

I like the flexibility and durability of the dividers, but it doesn't look as hot when you crack the case. Also it will not fit: Porter Q400's twin turboprop, or Air Canada A321's. I like how the IATA or whoever has regulation on maximum carry-on dimensions for passengers, but not minimum overhead requirements for aircraft. Ah well can't have it all.

Overall a lovely case to lug around. Just bought the 1495 laptop case too.

Repeating the OPʻs request: please post a picture of your gear nestled in your Pelican case. Iʻd love to see this, too!

Probably not the best Example,
But here's my iPhone shot of my AF100 in the case.
Totally agree with Pickthorne, love the flexibility of dividers yet, as you can see, ain't the prettiest thing to see when open.
But yes, this is a quick snapshot I usually pack it more organized before the shoot.
I usually pack more things when I travel but just so you have an idea of spacing.
This is a list of what I usually Pack.

-AF100 Cam Body
-Zacuto Minibaseplate
-3 Pany Batteries and Charger
-14-140mm Lumix
-Novoflex Adapter for Nikon Mount
-Shotgun Mic
-Nikon Prime

All of the other items I usually pack as a check on, I wish my matte box would fit but that would take up way to much space.

@Dan Sawyer - what's the part number of this accessory? I tried a quick google search and couldn't find. Would love to see what it can do.

The bare minimum amount of cases I can roll out of here with for a non audio shoot is:

SIX. !!!!!

Camera, matte box rods, batteries, cards
Lens Case
On board monitor ( w cable batteries)
Field monitor ( w cables , brackets)
Samurai Recorder ( w cables , mounts , SSD drives, batteries)
Assorted cables, tools and chargers case.

Add - 2 to 4 cases for an audio shoot

Add Head and legs cases
Add Slider cases (3 pieces)
Add meter cases with lighting tools
Laptop case
External Drive case

No wonder my arms ger longer the older I get!
