For those who think Americans are nuts...

I just had to pass this along.

I mean, peeking in on other countries' television can give you some cultural insights, such as ... well, is it really that surprising that this act made it onto the stage of Britain's Got Talent?

I mean, I can see someone trying it... bizarre as it is. But then, he made it to the semi-finals!

And that proves that the world is indeed nuts, and a wonderful place, all at the same time.

Those shows are full of **** anyways. Well, let's not even go there in public.
-Cheers.

Strange, but I've seen stranger.

Was mildy entertaining for 2 seconds because of the Dr. Who reference, but that's all he has.

As Barry noted different cultures have different sensibilities. Note that Simon Cowell's primary basis for rejection was that it wouldn't (and clearly doesn't) work in las vegas. I don't know if he has any other strings in his bow (i suspect not) but he's clearly a showman and managed to up the ante in his semi-final effort. And yes, I think it helps to like Doctor Who, a bona fide cultural icon for generations.
