I have a Tascam DA-P1 DAT Recorder that is in great condition. This portable field preamp / mixer / recorder is awesome. It is clean and more than adequate for your field recoding needs. I needed an external recorder so I did not have to record audio directly into my camera. It cuts out a lot of the noise (good preamp). It comes with the original box, and accessories. Mr. Williams! A pleasure. I am surprised, but not by much, that we have run into each other on a forum designated to video production. I am smiling. I hope you are doing fine.

Still for sale. I am selling for $275; however by tomorrow afternoon I will have traded for a Sony WRT-860 transmitter, receiver along with the lavalier mic. I will be selling that for $400 o.b.o.
(I really am looking for money; I thought this would be more apt for people wanting to buy).

Ya, there really is not much out there on them. The thing is they are made to work with Sony's Pro-cam V-mount system. So you would need an adapter to have it work with your camera. It is an investment, but a VERY solid product (heck! it was made to work with cameras that cost $20-$40,000! Quality that is demanded!).
