[FS: General] FOR SALE: Sennheiser Phantom Power Supply

This may be a dumb question but, my dr-40 doesnt have good enough pre-amps to get a good signal from my NTG-2 Can I use my dr-40 to this to my mic and get a better signal?
 
Well, microphones do tend to be louder when running on 48 volts as opposed to the batteries. I just don't think the difference will be that significant. This is just opinion of course based on speculation. I had this powering me66 sen and I was feeding sony pcm d50 recorder, to be honest I got perfect sound either on battery or through this thing. The gain of course is lower when running phantom but I can't test and tell you by how much I sold the ME66. :(
