For Sale or Trade: Bogen 516 Tripod Head

I've had this head for over two years; it's a very good one. Got the usual cosmetic scratches but still works great. I'm sad to see it go but I need a tripod head to mount on my slider and this one has a 100mm half-bowl on it that I can't remove. So I'm selling it to buy another head or I'm willing to trade it for another head that can be flatmounted (5/8'' thread).

Just to be clear, I'm selling a Bogen 516 head with a 100mm half-bowl, comes with the quick release plate.

$450 + shipping and Paypal

OR I'm willing to trade this for a Bogen 503 + cash, or even another 516 without the bowl if anyone is interested in that (the bowl is a $50 value).

Updated with pictures, the quick release is not shown but is included. The leg is for sale together or separately ($130 + shipping and Paypal), it is a Varizoom T100A leg.

It's been on there for so long that it's stuck on tight. There's no way to grip the halfball to rotate it off since the base of the tripod turns with it. Normally I wouldn't care but since this is no longer my main tripod head I'd like to be able to put it to some other use.

On that note, if somebody can show me a successful way to remove this ballmount without damaging the head I will paypal $50 into their account. No joke.

so you unscrew the three screws attaching it to the base and twist and it won't rotate off? Needle-nose pliers perhaps?
 
Have you considered sending it to Bogen to see if they can remove the bowl? If anyone can fix it, it should be them.
