I have a year and a half old HPX500 package available for sale. I have shot several features shorts and commercials with this camera.

This is a 2/3" ENG type camera that shoots 1080/720/NTSC and PAL to 4 P2 Card slots. This package includes the camera body, a Wide angle Canon HD lens (KJ13x6BKRS), (2) 32gb "A" type P2 Cards, (1) 16gb "A" type P2 Card, Chrozeil front mount for rails, (2) IDX V mount 90wH bricks (Endura E-10S) and quick charger, Panasonic MC200G on camera super directional mic and a Canon variable handle mounted zoom control.

Personally I can say that this is one of the best cameras to personally own. The dynamic range on this camera supersedes the RED ONE by a long shot. If you include the ease of coloring the 1080P 4:2:2 footage, the results can be amazing. I have shot commercials, features, shorts, and live events with this camera and when a matte box and filters are added, your options are unlimited.

WHY I AM SELLING:
I love this camera. So it pains me to have to see it go, but my photography work has picked up and I am transitioning to an "above the line" position that does not require me to have a camera. This camera and I have shared many weeks of production, but it is time to move on.
I tallied up all of the parts that went into putting this together and I have put over $32K into this rig, now its yours for a steal.

are you intersted in parting it out? if so, what would you want for just the lens, rails and the rails mount?
 
Ill seperate the rails and mount, I want to keep the lens and body together for now.

It has the AC-401-89 mount on it.

Rails and mount can go for $500 shipped.
 
I would still like to sell this as a complete package. You'll be ther first to know when I change my mind.

Hi. Were you happy with that lens? I have a HDX900 body but I only have an SD lens. Do you think it's worth upgrading? If so, what would you want for the lens?
 
man, this is an absolutely rippin-awesome kit! at a STEAL of a price too!
i so wish i needed it. i'd pick it up in about 22 seconds!
