I bought this a few months ago and never really did anything other than some tests in my house with a shotgun mic that I recently sold. Works fine, I just somehow got the coil tangled somewhere inside and it won't full collapse to its smallest form. I have unscrewed a section to test that you can get inside and straighten it out, I just don't feel comfortable doing it in case I screw something up. Rather just take the loss and let someone score this for less than usual.
