For sale HPX170 - in Los Angeles

I also have a laptop I keep in the case. It's the last 15" Mac laptop that came with a full-sized PCMCIA slot and an HD screen. It's PowerPC - but it's fantastic for transferring/watching footage, running a waveform monitor on, using as a field monitor, checking critical focus with or logging and transferring footage with while you're shooting. I've also used it to capture directly from the camera's firewire circumnavigating the P2 cards whenever stationary (huge time saver). I will include it for $650 if you can use it. It's like having an entire HD field package in a case the size of a carry on.

It also comes with Barry Green's book and the camera is pre-set with scene files for day for night, filmic, skip bleach, coral and normal.

they are excellent!

This looks like a perfect cam. I'd suggest taking pictures of the extras you are offering, like take a photo of all the p2 cards and batteries that it comes with.

if you still have this when i come to la in a few weeks i might be able to buy a 16gb p2 if your willing to split.
