This is a fantastic, quite sharp static adapter that is very difficult to find now (there were only about 400 or so made I believe). It is very lightweight weight (I think around 1 lbs. at most maybe) with no moving parts. It will attach to any camera with a 72mm thread such as a dvx100 or xha1. It has a Nikon f mount. The only reason I’m selling it is because I’ve upgraded to new gear.
They originally went for $650 (no shipping included). I’m selling it for$300 obo with pelican case and shipping included.
It is ideally suited for SD acquisition, although you can also shoot some beautiful HD footage if you keep your still lenses under f2—ideally at f1.4. Higher than f2, and hd imaging will pick up the grain on the ground glass (some grain is visible in HD at f2 to the discerning eye). The image is flipped upside-down, so you’ll need to flip in post (which is easy). The light loss is not much, definitely less than the 1.4 stops the new cinemek has. Although there are a few small scratches on the 72mm thread, these are small aesthetic blemishes and the adapter is in perfect working condition.
Check out some of Marty Martin and Zia Mohajerjasbi’s work on vimeo: a lot of it was shot using the go-35pro. For example (shot in HD): http://www.vimeo.com/4823299
and (in SD): http://www.vimeo.com/406204
I will post some of my test footage of my go35pro xha1 combo if interested.
PM me or send an email to 123izadi@gmail.com if interested. Pics should be below... (the nikon lens doesn't come with it (it's just for display)).
