Selling my Canon XH G1, as I haven't used it in quite some time. Overall the camera is in very good shape for its age. I am not the first owner of the camera. The XH G1 first debuted back in 2006 (more here: https://global.canon/en/c-museum/product/dhc726.html). It's a great CCD camcorder with an image that still looks pretty damn good despite being nearly 20 years old.
As best I can tell everything is in working order, but please note that I have not tested whether the tape mechanism works. It *seems* to work, but I don't own any tapes to test it out. I used the SDI output to record video externally on an Atomos Shogun and Ninja V+.
Comes with the original Canon battery, an aftermarket battery, and the original charger. Overall this is a well-maintained camcorder that is a great option for someone keen to get the CCD look in an easy to use package.
