I'm parting with my rock star Canon 70-200 mm 2.8L Series (non IS) lens in order to fund the purchase of a GH2 and a couple of Canon FD lenses so that I can produce some videos for a non-profit I serve (I know there is a steep learning curve). If I had the extra resources, I would not part with this lens. Produces images that are tack sharp, and the bokeh is absolutely stunning. If you're not familiar with the 70-200 2.8L, check out the reviews online. It is truly wonder glass.

I am the original owner (purchased new from B&H). A B+W Pro UV Haze filter has lived on the lens since unboxing on day one (unless shooting at night, even then it goes back on immediately). The filter, lens caps, hood and Canon's original soft case are included. This lens is clean, scratch-free (I take very good care of my investments) and performs flawlessly.

$1,100 plus shipping, through Paypal (only)

Below are photos that I personally shot of the actual lens for sale.
(I only have a tiny Novatron pack and [single] head with umbrella, so the photos are nothing fancy)

This will also be listed locally on Craiglist as well. If I don't receive any hits by Jan 1, 2013, I will place this on eBay. I'm looking to get into a GH2 very quickly.

I will remove this post or reply with "SOLD" or "MOVED TO EBAY" when appropriate.

If I could figure out a way to safely trade here on the forums for a GH2, some Canon FD lenses and extra batteries, I would consider it. But, I don't know how this would work without one side or the other of the transaction taking huge risks. Anyone done a trade here? I'm fairly new to the forums, so any advice is appreciated (especially if you're not interested in this item).
