Hey everyone, I'm unfortunately forced to part with my Panasonic HMC40. I've had it since February, and I really like it, but it has to go. The camera is barely used, with no issues whatsover.
I'm asking $1600.00, and that includes the Panasonic 0.7 wide angle adaptor. On B+H and Amazon, the cameras retailing for $1949.00, and the wide angle adaptor for 183.00 (someone pleas correct me if anything I'm saying seems wrong) plus a UV filter and ND filter.
So, you'd save 600-700 dollars, for what is nearly a brand new camera.
I live in Pittsburgh and go to Pitt. Before I put it on Ebay and Craigslist, I wanted to come on here and see if anyone in or around the city would like to take a look at it. I'm still not all that comfortable with selling stuff on E-bay, as I got nearly ripped off the last time I tried to buy something on the site, so its a last resort.
If anyones interested, shoot me a message or let me know on this post. As to why I'm getting rid of it-well, I'm directing a feature soon here for my thesis project, and the DP is bringing his own camera, and I'm getting low on funds. It sucks, and maybe someday I can buy a nice cam like this again, but for now, the film comes first.
Best,
Mitch
