I am selling my DVX100a package - I bought it in the box from another private party here in Los Angeles in March - he had put 12 hours on it after buying it new from B&H/ NY in 2004 .
Sorry- no longer have the box, I detest styrofoam & cardboard storage
I have put an additional 141 hours on the camera over the course of two little shows wherein I was the only user ( never rented or mishandled, no salt-air, dust -storms, stunt- drops, etc).
Total hours 153 as of 1/1/2006 and it's sitting packed away.
It is housed in a large and roomy Pelican case with a .6 Century wide adapter, a Formatt Mattebox with 72mm ring, the stock battery ( 1600?) and charger and two longer life batts - 3500's.
Also has little Hoodman, original booklet, other stuff like earphones, head cleaner tape, couple of blank Master tapes... no "extra DVX book and Magic Bullet software" people constantly inquire about - don't know anything about that, I shoot- I'm not an editor, and unless it was in the box when I chucked it, I never had it.
I would like to sell the camera soon and want to get a fair $ out of it; it can be inspected in Studio City by appointment. No shipping, checks, etc- this has to be a tangible, cash sale in Los Angeles. I had several bad haps with multile eBay auction back-outs on film gear I sold and I am now a bit gun-shy of that route as being a big time waster for me.
I'll take $3,000 or best offer
