For fun

Got my camera last friday, no special lighting (beyond added and extra lamp off camera) no special sound (that's coming in a month... for now it's just the on camera mike) and no special editing software (just windows XP stuff)

I'm working on remembering framing and things like that while updating my horrid High School stuff which focused on no retakes, no camera movements (including cuts.. just camera down and action). So, written in 5 minutes, videoed in 20, and edited in about an hour, here is Cubed - running time 1 minute - file size 4MB

(PS, I realized that to show anything to folks the compression has to suck a bit making your wonderful camera's attention to detail.. kind of nulled out... which format would you guys suggest? I saved a master of this thing (250-300MB) but that's a bit large for sharing online)

Wow... just watched it again and NOW I see so many more problems. Odd. Head room, all kinds of mistakes. Amazing how a night a sleep clears the mind. :)

Congrats on the new camera.

It can be a lot of fun to just sort of 'run and gun' something, of course it often ends up looking that way to.

This was fun, I look forward to seeing your future.

Chris
