kesslers footage with the crane

i researched skycrane, proam, ez fx, cobra crane and a few others with comparable pricetags and decided to go with kessler, u can type kessler review in google and get the vibe that they are a good company very fast

will be posting a video review of the product as soon as it gets here, thanks this forum is great

Kessler is a good company. I own a KC-lite 8 since they were first available at the intro price some time ago. My opinion, it does alright, but a beefier jib would be better. The KC-lite definitely suffers from some lateral swaying. Nailing solid stops is near impossible, there's always a little bobble at the end which makes the footage less than really pro.

I've kept it simply because for the $299 I paid then for it, I can make it work for my projects and client work. Having a field monitor makes for much better footage, practice, get the move down and then do it for real.

I have a TOS optical cable and HDMI cable both zip tied to the crane. Bought an assortment of used weights so I can get the balance dead on.

It's decent for the money, well constructed, good materials, will last a long time and take a reasonable beating.

Any thoughts on this dajavu? Thinking about this since I don't have a pod and the lite package is an inexpensive way to get some kind of movement happening at a low price.

so after some time with this, im glad i got it, it kinda tilts on the tripod that comes with it with a 7d and counterweights but that isnt a big issue for me, im normally able to tighten it up and get it balanced, it does sway in the wind or on fast shots or dolly shots, really glad i have it though, great build, got tons of great shots with it, some i have to stabilize, its easy to put together, the tilt on it is smooth, nice addition, portable so i will keep it around even as i move on to bigger cranes

hi, I am interrested in purchacing your product. Is it still available? ..I have read that you only ship to the U.S, would you mabe still be able to ship to Canada? I will pay for all the shipping costs.

how did you buy it for $299. it's like $400 right now. Also, does anyone know what's the difference between kc lite and kc8 ( which cost $100 more)
