I recently upgraded to the new Sony Clip Browser 2.0 for the XDCam EX.
I spent some time cataloging footage in the Browser, which included trimming footage to IN/OUT points, making new clips and deleting the old clips, as well as typing in titles and descriptions for the various clips.
So the first time I try to load that footage into Premiere today, and Premiere simply crashes without notice.
It's crashing whenever any clip that's been trimmed and metatags added, attempts to display--that could be on the timeline, or just clicking on the clip in the Project Bin.
Either Premiere doesn't like metatags, or it doesn't like trimmed clips from Clip browser. If we go through and trim/add descriptions to all our footage, that will render it unusable in Premiere. I think this is a pretty serious issue.
