Footage not looking right in Premier

Alright, so today was the first day i shot with my dvx. I went out and shot a few things all in 24p advanced, i came home and started a brand new premier pro 2.0 project set it at 24p advanced and captured all of my **** as usual, i then brought it into the time line, and something just doesn't look right. Like on the LCD screen of the dvx it was looking amazing like you could tell the frame rate was slower and everything, but now as i watch it in premier it just like doesnt look that way, it really just looks like normal 60i footage without the slower frame rate, its all smooth and stuff. Whats going on?? can some one tell me exactly how i need to set up my project and what not please?

it may be the pulldown removal. look into the settings, im not sure if 2.0 was set on automatic for pulldown removal.

It won't be the pulldown removal -- if the pulldown isn't removed, the movement will be the same as what it is in the LCD, because that's playing back with pulldown. Besides, 24p motion is still 24p motion.

How does the footage read (frame rate) in the Project window?

I'd not use Premiere's built in monitor for this kind of QC. Export out a 24P MPEG, burn that to DVD and watch on a real TV. Use that to test the "look" of your motion.

I second that, Premiere's preview can be clunky, even when locked at 100%, because it is doing the PAR conversion real-time. You can probably even see a difference in looking a clip in the timeline, versus double-clicking the clip and viewing it directy, which usually looks better.

Just trust that it's fine, and edit your project.
