Footage from Retribution, attack sequence

This is footage from the new Reluctant Production, "Retribution", we're planning to reshoot it, we now have a script, and more actors and gore planned (wicked fun to make gory action packed movies), and this is the first clip being released online. It's of the first attack sequence, nothing to gory, music adds to the mood, it's already gone through post as far as image is concerned, still working on audio work. Let me know what you think.

Clip was rendered at 1mbps, custom frame size, in QuickTime format.

That was a super clip. I really feel bad for the poor actor that had to take the beating. It really looked like he was getting kicked hard. Talk about "taking one for the team" !

We really were! Me especially, haha. That's faro, one of my best friends since I was 5. He's also our make up effects guy (he took a picture of FARO carved in his arm in blood, and everyone thought it was real, turns out he's got a knack for the effects). But yeah, I was really kicking him, and i'm 6'4, 250, and irish. So you know he was feeling it. haha, poor guy.

What'd you think of the image quality (besides choppiness from not rendering full quality) and color correction work?

fun clip man!! I like chase sequences and the shaky cam was a nice touch.

image quality was decent, though maybe make colors a bit more...hmm, twisted? it seemed too bright

It didn't seem choppy when I viewed it. In fact I was thinking that everything seemed really smooth for how much action and editing that was involved in it.

Well final call on that is up to Joe, the director. I think the colors fit at least decently, it was actually more greens and yellows, I just changed it to forest greens and reds, making skin tones a tad more warm.

What'd everyone think of audio quality?
