Food shots from commerical

[Ramon Boutviseth]

Hiya, I just got my first PA job doing a commercial. It was an awesome experience, I was given the task of shooting a "making of" video for the students. They basically turn me loose to shoot and do anything I want. There was a varicam on the shoot, the big daddy. The dvx doesn't come close, but the images were still beautiful.

Are these shots from the Varicam or the DVX100? They look pretty damn good.

these are from the dvx100a, factory settings, settings (ND 1/8)

the top 3 are great. the shrimp salad looks not too tasty to me. and the wineglass is not nicely put. but the top 3 are really cool.

Yeah, those grabs are awesome. I was thinking, so did he use the Varicam for those. Of course, I've never actually seen an Varicam footage to my knowledge, but never-the-less, I'm very impressed!
