FollowZoom?

Ok so I know the setup I want...

IndyRAILS (12in)
IndyFOCUS20
IndySNAP gears
CineCity Mattebox w/ dual rotating filter holder and side & french flags

Now My question is... is there a way to rig another indysnap gear on the zoom ring of the stock lens along with the focus ring? so that I can 'followzoom" smoothly?

Is there even such a thing?
 
Haha! That's the exact same rig I've got/am getting... just waiting for my matte box... this combo is probably the best bang for the buck available... YMMV. :)

Anyway, to answer your question:

Checking my setup, it all depends on the distance between your zoom ring on the lens, and the focus ring. But you'll need to order 2 IndiFocus20's and 2 IndiSNAP! Gears of the same diameter. Because of the way the follow focus is designed, you can mount one on the right and one on the left. Heck, I may order another one just to do what you've described! :grin:
