Hey Folks,

I just learned about this forum; sorry for the redundancy for those who saw my post in the Cafe. :Drogar-Thinking(DBG

I recently launched FollowMyFilm.com, a website where people can join me as I venture out to make my first micro-budget feature, from script to screen. And people's comments may definitely effect the final film!

It's not just about me, though. For instance, I've already written posts about aspect ratio and character-driven versus plot driven script writing.

So, not only would I love for you all to check out my site, but also to let me know about the effectiveness of other such sites. I've searched and have come across a few already...

Peace,
Christopher

Hey, thanks for the inquiry... My post was sort of a ghost town! :violin:LOL
At this time, I'm still developing the script and have not tackled too many logistics. However, as you probably know, the questions you ask must be taken into consideration when writing a micro-budget film.

Budget? In the few thousands. I'm writing in such a way to utilize what I have 100% access to without costs. And I'm going non-union actors. And my filmmaking method is very, very stripped down, so I won't have much of a crew, though I most definitely will not skimp on sound!

Schedule? I can't imagine I'll need more than 7 shooting days.

Camera? I own a DVX100A with an adapter, but it's really going to come down to the look that I need according to my overall vision. As I write the script and the content evolves, I'll begin my previsualization and select a camera accordingly. I can say for certain, I will be shooting digitally.

So that's that!
