I'm putting together a package for my AF100 and am hitting kind of a snag in the wide-normal range. I don't have a whole lot of money (trying to keep it under $7000, batteries, cards, follow focus, lenses), and so I'm wondering what the best options are for follow focus-capable lenses.
For tiny lenses, I'd look at picking up the 9-18 m4/3, and the 14 and 20 mm Panasonic and also already have the 25 mm Olympus pancake from my E-450 DSLR. They are also super tiny lenses, and looking at the follow focus I plan on buying (the TrusMT T2), I'm not sure they will be able to work well with it. Anybody have any experience using a follow focus with tiny lenses? I realize it's not ideal, but I can't quite afford the 7-14 (the m4/3 or the 4/3) or the 14-35 yet.
The other lenses I'm looking at are the 11-22 or for $200 more, get the 12-60 Olympus. The only hesitation I have is that the 12-60 has a bit of distortion at the wide end, but it's a more versatile lens overall. These are more normal sized lenses and won't have any problems, so should I just get these?
