How would I do this? I like the Captian Stubling from Redrock but I fear that the gear that connects the follow focus to lens gear wouldn't line up (it would be too low) It seems like I would need the DSLR baseplate, short iris rods, a step up adapter to adjust the iris rods to a higher position, closer to the lens, then 2 more short iris rods that the follow focus would connect to. What is this "step up adapter" to move the rods about an inch higher. I don't know the term so I don't know what to search for.
Or perhaps someone else has another solution for me.
