Follow focus with reverse direction + hard stops - What are my options?

Hi guys

Apologize if this ended up in the wrong section. Wasn't really sure where to post it.

I'm looking into purchasing a follow focus and need some help to round up my options. As I am using Nikkor lenses that focus the "wrong way" I want a unit that will let me reverse the focus direction. I also want hard stops as I use photo lenses and they not have that built in. I would prefer a solid unit where I can grip my camera (BlackMagic Pocket Camera with cage, two rods and a top handle) with my right hand and support it with my left hand holding onto the follow focus. The kicker is that it can't cost too much.

I was going to buy the Fotga DP500IIS but as far as I can tell you cannot reverse the direction on that unit. I have also looked into the Edelkrone FocusOne Pro, but that one doesn't have hard stops. The Letus follow focus looks nice, but I can't really justify the cost.

So here are my criteria:
- Must have option to switch between clockwise and anti-clockwise focus direction.
- Must have hard stops.
- Solid construction so it can double-duty as a support grip for a very light-weight "in your face run and gun"-setup.
- Preferably double rod mounting with some sort of quick-release clamp so it doesn't have to slide off the end of the rails to mount and remove.

I don't really have a maximum price, but I wan't to avoid the cheapest units that fall apart or start acting up after a short while. I prefer the price to be less then US$500, it can be quite a bit lower aswell.

If anyone have any suggestions or experience to contribute with in regards to this I would really appreciate it. You may also note that this will be my first follow focus unit, so I don't know what I might not want.

Thanks!

You may want to look at Shoot35 Cinefocus R3 follow focus. Have not tried it but it looks pretty good from their website.

Thanks guys!

I pulled the trigger on the cheaper follow focus in the thread Alex H. linked. I don't know how I missed that one! May not be able to reverse the direction, but if it's as good as people say I can learn to pull the "wrong" way. ;)

Again, thanks!
