I want to get a whip for my cavision FF. What's a good recommended length? 12"? 15"? 18"?
I'm inclined to go with the 15", but does anyone have suggestions?
im curious about this as well...i'd be pulling focus for myself using a 7D attached to a redrock micro shouldermount...15" seems like a good amount because then if I have an AC on a shoot they can use it without getting too much in my way!
we made one from some random parts in a buddys' garage, 18" length with a detatch at 12" for no particular reason but that we could do it; i prefer to use the 12" because it feels more precise, my partner prefers the 18" because he feels its smoother.
