Follow Focus Questions For Hvx200

I've played around with the varizoom at EVS. Good for one handed control but not enough throw to be usefull as a follow focus. Definately contact Varizoom about a real digital follow focus that can connect to iris rods and has a timed focus shift option so you can do repeatable focus shifts at different speeds. Maybe actually have an auto and manual mode. Hmmmm, in auto mode you can set up to 6 preset focus distances and use a remote key pad to select wich to go to and have a dial to determine how fast the shifts happens. In manual mode it works just like a mechanically linked FF but you can program "Hard stops" at near and far if you like.
Anyone listening? We would pay $400 for this at least right?

By saying not enough throw do you mean cord length or focus control Evin?
