Follow Focus & Matte Box possible with 20mm f1.7

Hi All,

Just received my Shoot35 CineFocus ( thanks Wayne for incredible service ! ) and the only lens I cant really seem to hook up to it is the 20mm f1.7 because its so close to the body, if I flip the FF gear to the inner output spindle, it will hook up to the focus ring but then the follow focus unit blocks the matte box. So am I being thick, or is it impossible to use a follow focus & mattebox with the Panny 20mm 1.7 ?

Do I have to buy that pricey Olympus 14-35 f2.0 to get a fast wide lens to work with the MB & FF ?

Vitaliy, is Tokina 11-16mm Considerable wider than 14mm? I am looking to use with my Glidecam. Currently I use 14-45 for Glidecam.
I am worried about Weight also. It is too heavy than 14-45mm. I am also considering 10-24 Tamron and Olympus 9-18.
Suggest me which is better at f3.5. Thanks!

I think widest is Panasonic 7-14mm, but it is F4. Pretty good and sharp.
As for wide shots, it depends on your needs. 11mm is significantly wider than 14mm and 7mm is even better :-).
Tokina is best option in this range. You need wither Nikon G or Pentax KA andapters (depends on lens version you'll have).
As for weight, normally small weight do not help speadicam shots.
