focusing?

having problems focusing, I cant seem to get it right. it always looks fine on the view finder but then when i watch it on my 70' screen, i can see all the out of focus shots. is a 7 inch monitor good for this?

Yes, but you have to get one with decent resolution. A lot of them only have a 480 x 234 resolution... and in my opinion, that won't cut it.

Find one thats 800 x 480, and you're good to go.

I've been looking around, and the cheapest that I've found with that resolution is the lilliput 7" touchscreen monitor (used for a car stereo). On ebay, they're going for $150-$200. I'm picking up tomorrow or so...

that's what I use to see my dailys I cant take that on location. <---- that sounds like I actually have some big production gpoing on.
