Focus Wheel Hard To Spin

All the searches just seem to be returning broken focus issues, but if there is already a thread on this then I'm sorry.

For the last few days I've noticed that the focus wheel on my 100b was getting harder to spin. The camera still focuses just fine it's just that the wheel is harder then I remember it, like some piece of dirt got stuck in underneth it.

Is there a way to get access to the buttom of the focus wheel so I can try and clean it out. Or should I just continue to spin the wheel until it dislodges itself?

id be careful in trying to get to the focus ring. i was once trying to take off my wide angle and ended up with the entire focus mechenism in my hand.
