Focus ring moving when camera mounted on car

Hello,

I had a shooting yesterday, involving the camera mounted on the front bonnet of a car (filming driver) with a big suction cup.
As soon as the car accelerate, the focus changed totally, so I can't use any shot :cry:
Speed of the car was only 55mph, but I think it's the wind who moved the focus ring.

Do anyone ever experienced this problem, and if yes, how to fix it?

Never experienced this.... because I have never shot with cam on car. May I suggest getting focus then gaffing the focus ring?
