Focus in Meters

In HVX there was a menu function to see youre focuspoint in Meters or inches. In HPX500 I cant find that, is that because of the dockable lens capability.

Yes, the markings are on your lens instead of on the display.

thanks, too bad. In HVX you see meters so I quessed the distance to know I was in focus.

But its no different. The lens marking correlate to the focal distance exactly as the meter does. I love tape measures. Admitedly the Pana monitor has mad me a little lazy this past few weeks, having to shoot as quickly s possible.

yes youre right but if you look through your viewfinder you don't see you're lens (ENG style)
