FS7: Focus assist & Viewfinder Extension cable?

I am shooting a narrative film with my FS7. I'm using an HDMI onboard monitor for my own reference to operate with and I've given the A.C. who is pulling focus, the Sony monitor.

A couple of key questions.

Where is the focus assist function that will allow the A.C. to zoom in on the image? In the F55 for example, it's in the viewfinder. FS100, it's on the cam body.

Also, That viewfinder cable is hysterically short. My A.C. has a tough time getting close enough to the viewfinder cause it can't be comfortably set on the rods on the left side of camera because the cable is too short for that.

Ideally I would have a dual sided follow focus so he could sit on either side but there would be times when I'd need the A.C. on the left side of camera and currently the viewfinder extension cable is so short that it can't be place there
Any extension cables out there?

I don't understand the issue you are having. The Fs7's LCD can be easily positioned to face camera left with plenty of cable to spare. It can be positioned towards the operator ( rearward ) towards the subject ( forward ), towards camera left, towards camera right, skyward, and towards the ground. Simply move the rod supporting the LCD to a vertical position and then spin the LCD to face to the left.

The focus magnification button is on the grip control. But you can assign focus magnification to one of the assignable buttons. If the AC is sitting on the left side of the camera, on the "smart side", they would have easy access to assignable buttons #'s 1-3.
