GH3 Focus assist magnifier / remote focus

I would like to know from those who have a GH3 whether the focus assist magnifier can be used during recording (in the GH2 it only works when not recording) and is it possible to adjust focus over WiFi from an iPad and how does it work?

No, I don' think so. I have played with my GH3 + 12f2.0 lens and I could not engage the Focus assist during recording. Of course, the focus assist works BEFORE recording, either in AF or MF mode. It seems like the GH3's focus assist works the same as the GH2's. Don't know about WiFi as I still cannot get the WiFi working with my MBP, and I don't have either the iPhone or iPad.

Thanks for clarying. I'm going to get this GH3 because I need the better performance at higher ISOs and will use an external LCD monitor with blown up image for focus checking. As I understand it, the image is not streaming over WiFi once the cam is recording which is a pitty because zooming in on a video image on an iPad is very easy. If they can provide with live streaming during recording in the future that would be awesome.
