Flying camera and layers effects.

I was watching a tutorial by Andrew Kramer, http://www.videocopilot.net/videotutorials/3dlines/index.htm and was wondering how I can achieve a similar effect of the camera flying around revealing "text and graphics" (its the intro of the tutorial). Also he has a new tutorial called Riot Gear http://www.videocopilot.net/riotgear.html I also like the camera movements and how the layers seem so 3d. This is probably some basic stuff to AE gurus, but are there any free web tutorials that can get my feet wet in learning this style?

That looks like some standard 3D layers with different positions of each element on the z axis. Camera movement would cause parralax to help sell the shot, and you could even incoporate depth of field along with motion blur to add further coolness.
